AS CM went to press. Innovate Logistics' MD Pete Osborne confirmed he is bidding to buy two more companies.
There are strong rumours that one of the firms is Stockport haulier RF Fielding.
This comes less than 12 months after the Nottingham logistics company snapped up reefer operator Phil Hanley. Only months before that, Innovate director Stephen Savage told CM: "We want to be UK market leader of refrigeration logistics. We cannot be swayed from that."
Osborne hopes to announce one of the deals this week and the other within six weeks.
