CLEVELAND Trading Standards Department has completed the calibration of its 1,000th tanker since its testing centre, designed to meter and calibrate road tankers throughout Northern England, opened in January 1981.
Over the four-year period, tankers have been calibrated from as far away as Northern Ireland and Scotland.
