/IAN and the German trailer ompany, Schenk, have deve3ped an aerodynamic device or use specifically on the railer of a drawbar outfit. Previously such devices Lave been mainly intended for emi trailers.
Made of aluminium the delector is built on a modular irinciple to cater for differing leights and widths of trailer. MAN estimates that at a oad speed over 70 km/h (43 nph) the trailer mounted delector can reduce the fuel :onsumption by around 1.5 it/100km (around half a galon less per 100 miles).
