Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Pathfinder's styling hasn't changed radically, but its new looks are more modern and slightly more masculine.

It displays nimble handling, a comfortable ride and a great turn of pace. Its abilities in the rough when fully loaded were certainty put to the test, but it is a testament to the Pathfinder's fine all-round abilities that it pulled through. Unless you intend to really test its mettle off-piste, most regular scenarios won't prove beyond its capabilities.

Loading heavy items into the vehicle can be problematic because of the floor height, and those over Mt tall should approach the open tail-gate with caution.

The lack of choice in the range may force a few to look elsewhere, but the high levels of standard equipment are impressive. The absence of the 3.0-litre Vb engine's 450Ntn of torque may sound like a missed opportunity, but at no point did the Pathfinder's 2.5-litre engine leave us needing more.

Pathfinder may be just another car-derived van, but there's a definite market for a capable, comfortable all-terrain van. The sturdy build quality, its strong performing engine and well balanced ride and handling will deliver wherever you take it.,
