• A truck manufacturer's filter advertisements, which claim its parts go through more tests than any independentlysold filters, are misleading says the Motor, Factors' Association.
It claims the Leyland Daf parts are the same as the ones sold by its awn members, except for different packaging.
The Advertising Standards Authority says the advertisements, which also say the filters are priced as competitively as independent factors' are fair.
