Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

at my premises to to provide a small amount of storage space. One of my customers has asked if I would store some of his traffic but I have had no experience of warehousing and am in some difficulty about what to charge. Could you help please?

AIn general, warehousing is charged for on the basis of so much per square foot of space occupied per week or per month. It really depends on what the facility costs you to provide plus a reasonable percentage for profit.

You might like to approach the National Association of Warehouse Keepers, 120 Grand Buildings, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, which might be able to advise you on warehousing procedures and charges. The National Materials Handling Centre, Cranfield Institute of Technology, Cranfield, Bedford MK43 OAL, might also have some information which would help you.
