Ltd., has received an order for two Mammoth Major six-wheel tractive units for service with the Malayan Federal Army. They will haul Cranes low-loading trailers, equipped with Reynolds winches and cables, and will be used for carrying large indivisible loads.
MARSHALL BODIES IN DEMAND ABROAD: Orders for nearly 120 Cambridgian heavy-duty metal-framed single-decker export bodies have been received by Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd, in recent weeks. They include five for Lagos Municipal Transport Service on Guy Victory chassis, and nine for the Ghana Supply Commission on Leyland, Bedford and Albion chassis. Countries from which orders have been received include Jamaica, Trinidad, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Dominic-an Republic and the Sudan on a variety of chassis. including Austin, Bedford, Commer and Leyland. Recent orders for the home market include three 30-seater front-entrance bodies on Bedford V.A.S. chassis, one 59-seater front-entrance body on a Leopard chassis fur Brewer Motor Services Ltd., Caerau, Bridgend, Glamorgan, and four 54-seater front-entrance bodies on A .E.C. Reliance chassi.s for Leicester City Transport.
