FOR the first time, a Transport Minister found out for himself what training facilities the road haulage industry has provided for itself.
Today (April 9) Dr John Gilbert, Minister for Transport, is to visit the Road Transport Industry Training Board Multi-Occupational Training and Educational Centre (Motec) at High Ercall. While he is there it is hoped to persuade him to drive a maximum capacity articulated unit.
