Mike Edwards has moved from Tor Line to become a director of Davies Freight Forwarding (Hull) Ltd. He was with Tor Line for over five years, and has gained wide experience in Scandinavian and Continental traffic.

A new distribution director for H. P. Bulmer Ltd is Derek Joyce, general manager (distribution) for the past two years. He joined the cidermaking company in 1962 as an assistant works manager and has progressed since then through the distribution and production functions.

Richard Doncaster is retiring as chairman of Sheffield-based metals specialist Daniel Doncaster and Sons Ltd. and is being succeeded by Anthony Shadforth, IncĀ° Europe chairman and a Doncaster director for three years. I. D. Balchin becomes group managing director on October 1.
