WORK is proceeding on a 0.75m extension to Stonefie Vehicles Ltd's on/off-road vehicle factory at Cumnock, Ayrshire.
Intended to cope with increasing demand for its range of ful automatic 4x4 and 6x4 vehicles, the 4,585sqm extension is due be completed early next year.
It will provide additional fabrication and pre-treatme facilities, and increased office accommodation.
The Scottish Development Agency, which holds a 76 per ce share in Stonefield, has provided funds for the extension.
