UNUCENSED TRUCK Using a vehicle without an 0licence, when the tachograph had no two-year check and was not being used, led to Michael Watts and Richard Thomas, partners in The Grapevine, being fined I1,300 apiece, with E70 costs. They admitted the offences before the Prestatyn Magistrates.
FINAL WARNING A Kerr & Co Haulage, of Kirkcudbright, has received a severe final warning from the Scottish ITC Richard McFarlane. The firm appeared before the DIG at a Glasgow disciplinary inquiry after a rocker switch had allegedly been found fitted to a storage recess on the dashboard of a Kerr vehicle.
