• Go-Ahead Northern is promoting staff internally to head the five subsidiary companies it plans to form in January 1991 (CM 20-26 September).
Keith Moffatt, currently district manager of Gateshead, will become general manager of Sunderland; Alex Carter, district manager of Sunderland, will be general manager of Gateshead; Kevin Lascelles, district manager of north-west -Durham, will be its general manager; Alex Nelson, GoAhead Northern's operations manager, will be general manager of North Tyne, the Durham-based coaching and Newcastle-based taxi divisions. Neil Birch, deputy district manager of Tyne, will be manager of South Tyne.
