• Sandy Anderson has been appointed to the Board of Transport International Pool and Director, South UK, of TIP Trailer Rental He was part of the management team which successfully purchased the Company from Gelco Corporation (USA) earlier this year.
Anderson joined TIP in April 1982 as Area Sales Manager at the Company's Grays Branch, covering East London, and in August 1983 he was promoted to Operations Manager, South UK Division, a position he held until taking up his new appointment.
Prior to TIP, Anderson spent five years with Freightliners holding several sales and managerial positions. He joined Freightliners following graduation from Strathclyde University, where he gained an Honours Degree in Economics and Geography.
