Scotland: M90/A90. Between the north end of the Forth Road Bridge and the Fife regional boundary there are lane closures due to lane whitelining.

M8. Due to resurfacing and bridge maintenance west of junction 29 (St James interchange, Paisley), the westbound carriageway is closed for two miles and twoway traffic uses the eastbound side.

Northern England: Ml. Between junctions 32 (M18 the north) and junction 33 (Sheffield), one lane is closed in both directions for one and a half miles due to resurfacing.

M62. Resurfacing of the westbound carriageway four miles west of junction 12 (Manchester/Stretford) has resulted in two-way traffic on the eastbound side.

The next phase of the scheme to widen the M4 between the Coldra and Caerleon interchanges has now begun. Work on the westbound carriageway will result in the closure of the left-hand lane and harc shoulder. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction during the work.

A487. Work will start shortly on the improvement of the Fish guard to Bangor Trunk Roac (A487) at Llanfarian, near Abe. rystwyth. The work involves im. proving and reconstructing E stretch of the single carriageway road and building a bridgE across the Afon Ystwyth in thE village. Trunk and side roads wil also be affected by the improve ment works which will take 1f months to complete.

Penzance. Rebuilding of tht Ross swing bridge will continuc for the next five months an drivers are urged to use the Mar ket Jew Street route as an alter native.

South-east England: M25 Roadworks have closed thE westbound carriageway be tween the Godstone InterchangE and the Kent border. Two-way traffic now travels on thE eastbound side.

Further north on this route the southbound carriageway re mains closed from just north o junction 14 (Newport Pagnell for two miles. Two way traffic operates on the northbound sidE and delays frequently occur.
