ANEW transport officer, to he responsible for the maintenance and repair of all corporation vehicles except those of the fire brigade, is required by Croydon Corporation. The establishment committee state that he must have wide motor engineering experience in an executive or managerial capacity. A salary of £1,050£1,250 has been suggested.
