kAR. C. R. HODGSON, East Midland VI Licensing Authority, at Nottingham, lecided not to revoke the licence of 4r. G. H. Cunnington, of The Crescent, :aston on the Hill, near Stamford, Lincs. 4r. Cunnington, it was said, had stated -I a letter in July. 1961, that a lorry was a his possession. Subsequently, the vehicle was found eing used by a Mr. R. W. Baxter, who ,as convicted at Darlington of using it ,ithout a carrier's licence and Mr. unnington was fined .£5 for aiding and betting. Mr. Cunnington said that he had been I partnership with Mr. Baxter who had aid the £300 deposit on the vehicle, the ;st being on hire-purchase. He had been aid a wage as a driver and 7 per cent of re profits. Asked why he had not notified the icensing Authority at once of the artnership he said that he had not :alized that it was necessary. The Authority decided not to revoke e licence and granted an application for substitution by a lighter vehicle.
