THE public register of agreements, being drawn up under the Registration of Restrictive Trading Agreements Order, 1956, will be opened not later than April 15, This Order required the registration by February 28 of agreements about common prices and conditions of sale, level or agreed tendering, the granting of preferential terms to certain persons or traders, or the confining of supplies of goods to certain persons or traders.
The register will be kept in London, Edinburgh and Belfast and be available for inspection on payment of a Is. fee. The Registrar has power to take action about agreements which ought to be registered. but are not.
British Overseas Airways Corporation have taken delivery of a Bedford-Lomas ambulance which will he used at London Airport for the transport of accident and sick cases among the staff. In addition, it will be used for the transfer to or from aircraft of invalid passengers. The Corporation make a special study of the carriage of invalid passengers and carry greater numbers of • them every year. Most of these passengers are travelling to receive special medical attention in variouspartsof the world. The ambulance has two-way radio,and can accommodate two streichersandthreesittingcases.
