• Fleet managers can use the latest WAP-enabled mobile phones to locate their vehicles from wherever they are. WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a new standard which allows limited Internet access from GSM mobile phones. The new service is an addition to Tracker Network's Communicator fleet management system, which uses satellite tracking to record full details of vehicle movements.
Users can already access five or historical information on up to 2,500 vehicle events via a secure personal web page or by calling 0906 302 9999 (premium rate number) where a demonstration can also be heard.
