• David Collett, transport director of Peterborough Quarries, won first prize in the recent Commercial Motor! Bridgestone Tyres competition to win £1,500 worth of truck tyres. Collett collected his prize from Bridgestone's truck
tyr e division sales manager Tony Scorer last week. Peter borough Quarries chose 10 11R x 22. 5M 7-11 drive-axle tyres for its fleet, which con sists of Foden, Leyland and Iveco Ford 17-30-tonne GVW tippers.
