CONTINENTAL PIONEER of Richmond. Surrey has moved from its bus depot at Cedar Terrace because the site has been sold for redevelopment.
The company recently auctioned some vehicles and most of its office and garage equipment.
The Richmond depot was also the base for Harrods' sightseeing coaches, for a transport contractor, and a large number of vintage and privately-owned buses.
It was also the first home for such well-known businesses as Fare Stage Conversions and Len Wright Travel.
The operator is to move into smaller premises and will continue to operate a fleet of seven to eight coaches.
