• Construction materials supplier Tilcon has sold its remaining in-house tanker fleet to Derbyshire-based haulier Via Gellia Transport.

The deal was completed last Friday and is believed to increase the Cromford-based tanker and tipper specialist's fleet from 60 to 100.

It is understood Via Gellia will also take on 42 staff previously employed at Tilcon's sites at Congleton in Cheshire and Ballidon in Derbyshire.
