Jamie Gamble seems pleased with the day's work. He tots up 11 confirmed sales with two provisional bids waiting. The mix of vehicles he sells, highlighted ahead of the sale, becomes obvious as he scrolls down the list of vans he will take back to Nottingham.

The two provisional bids he is inclined to forget. "They wanted too much," he says.
