• F. W. Wheatley (Trailers) has sold its trailer manufacturing and die-casting interests for £375,000 to Oliver Rix. The deal involves a cash payment of £36,345 and 5,418,460 new Rix shares. Mr Reginald Tailby, Wheatley's chairman, is resigning and will be replaced by Mr Alan Bartlett and the name of the group is being changed to West of England Securities.
