A COMPREHENSIVE parcels service ri from Great Britain to many of the principal cities in Europe and all destinations in the Netherlands has been introduced by B.R.S. Parcels Ltd. The new service, which also provides for parcels coming into Great Britain, is operated by B.R.S. Parcels Ltd. in conjunction with Baxter, Hoare and Co. Ltd., of Borough High Street, London, S.E.I, who will arrange all export formalities, and N.V. Van Gend and Loos, of Rotterdam, who will deliver or arrange onward despatch to Continental destinations.

Any of the 100 B.R.S. Parcels Ltd. branches throughout the country will arrange collection or acceptance of goods to these destinations and will provide fun details of the service. Charges are based on weight from eight geographical areas in Great Britain to 19 destinationgroupings on the Continent.

The table shows examples of the through rates from London to include delivery to consignee in the Netherlands and to local Customs warehouse elsewhere. It should be noted that these charges exclude the cost of documentation, final Customs clearance and marine insurances. A charge of 22s. 6d. is raised for each separate consignment for documentation and cover for marine insurance can be arranged if requested by the consignor.
