Amalgamated IT Removers and Transport, Ltd., Victoria Street, St. Alban, has acquired a controlling interest in Central Garage (Luton), Ltd. The Board of the latter has been re-formed and includes Mr. W. A. Hines, of the former company, and Mr, E. B. Howes, a director of A. Saunders and Son, Ltd., Harpenden.
The company will, We learn, continue to operate its own fleet from its Luton-, premises and advantages will accrue through the co-operative measures which Will govern the two concerns in their wide spheres of activity, both in connection with local ' anddistance traffic. •
