The total output of Leyland oil enginee during 1936 increased by 17 per cent. over the figure for the previous year, according to delivery returns for the company's latest financial year. Of the machines delivered during the 1936 period, 49.5 per cent, of the goods .range and 69.5 per cent, of the passenger models were equipped with oil engines.
