THE EEC rolling week is calculated for any 60 hours of duty by a driver after January 1, according to the Department of Transport. A Dip spokesman told CM this week that a driver had to satisfy DTp examiners at any time that he had not exceeded the limit.
It is not permissible for a driver to work over the limit on one day and work a shorter period the next. He must always keep within the new regulations.
