Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Wall charts to date vehicle maintenance and DoE testing are now available from Adapta Charts.

The charting system will give the dates for DoE test application, pre-test inspection, road fund licence renewal, besides major overhaul periods, periodic time and mileage services, A & B services, driver's name and vehicle location. And fuel consumption, for instance, can be easily calculated from information displayed.

All vehicles — or items of plant for that matter — can be listed individually with horizontal elasticated ''flowlines" allocated to each one.

Basically, the system employs: a black plastics perforated background; variously shaped and coloured symbols which can be pegged into the background; elasticated "flowlines" which are stretched horizontally across the background to indicate maintenance progress; a vertical dateline which is moved on a weekly basis; and an integral card index unit which hangs to the left of the chart. Every index houses one A5 card — or M4 folded double — so that more detailed information concerning every vehicle is available.

Two standard chart sizes are initially available — 48in. x 221n. for 25 vehicles, and 48in. x 39in. for 50 vehicles, although special sizes can be made and the layout of the charts can be altered to suit customer requirements.
