Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Marcroft Engineering makes a 10-ton vehicle lift with a ramp pivoted at the forward end and hydraulic hoists at the rear. When a vehicle is driven on to the ramp, the hoists lift the rear of the ramp until the vehicle is horizontal 4ft above the ground; an automatic lock which has to be manually overridden before lowering, is automatically engaged.

The lift is bolted directly to the floor; a level concrete floor space 27ft by 14ft is required.
