• After providing details of its loss-making services in Angus, Walter Alexander (Midland) Ltd has refused to supply information about its profitable services to Kirriemuir finance committee. The committee is deciding whether to subsidize rural bus services in its area.
In a letter to the committee, the Angus county clerk pointed out that, while it was regrettable that the bus company had decided to withhold the information, it was legally entitled to do so.
