• The flat-fare Centrebus service, which the West Midlands PTE is operating in the centre of Birmingham using I9-seat C ornmer buses, may lose £20,000 in its first year of operation. This was said last week by Mr F. J. Lloyd, the PTE's director-general. He reported that present passenger trends indicated this size of deficit.
