A N Opposition attempt to put /--1 nationalized road transport under the control of a special Board instead of the new Holding Company was defeated when the Transport Bill was discussed in committee at the Commons on Tuesday. The suggestion was rejected by 22 votes to 12 after Mr. Maiples, the Minister, had condemned it as "fragmentation."
