Love the FH
I READ WITH interest the comments about the new Volvo FH in CM I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Volvo enthusiast and must admit that when I first saw the new FH last year, I was surprised by its styling. In fact, I didn't like it! But the more I've seen the truck in the press and out on the roads, I have to say that I'm
now impressed with the look of the truck and the huge grille, and the Volvo diagonal stripe below the windscreen gives the truck an impressive presence on the road.
Incidentally, I've seen some new FHs with the diagonal stripe on the grille and it looks out of place on the new Volvo. Although I've not had the chance to look inside one yet, let alone drive one, I've read nothing but great reports about the new FH and its features. The front grille might leave little
room for operator liveries, but I'm sure that is quickly forgotten when you're behind the wheel! Richard Evans Chester-le-Street
