Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NATIONAL Travel (North East) Ltd was granted additional day excursions and short duration tours from Huddersfield, following an agreement with objectors, before the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners at Leeds last week.

Originally National sought an additional 25 destinations including five ports of departure for one, two and threeday trips to the Continent.

This attracted objections from Hanson Coach Services Ltd, Abbeyways Coaches, G. Wainwright, trading as Haigh's Coaches, Wallace Arnold Tours Ltd and Baddeley Bros Ltd.

Following negotiations just prior to the commencement of the hearing, Peter Green, National's development and licensing officer, said the objectors had agreed to withdraw following a number of amendments.

In respect of the nine British oneand two-day duration destinations, the one-day part of the application was withdrawn. Six British destinations were withdrawn altogether.

On the Continental group, operation would be restricted to 30 departures in any one year.
