Pulling its weight
SPANSET Ltd at Knutsford Cheshire has modified its ratchet tensioner by simply increasing the length of the ratchet handle.
For a typical pulling force input of 75kg (16.151b) a webling tension of 500kg (1,1021b) can be expected which represents a 60 per cent increase over the earlier design.
