TAMPLIN Engineering Ltd is now offering a supply and install service to commercial vehicle distributors and body builders.
The company has already carried out a considerable number of blower installations in this way in response to specific requests.
The agent and body builder liaise with Tamplin engineers in the early stages of the contract to ensure that the vehicle is equipped with the correct PTO for the blower, and that an aperture of the standard Tamplin dimension is left at the rear of the vehicle to accept the cross-feed auger and blower mechanisms.
me veincie can oe taken to Tamplin's works at Birdham, Chichester by one of the normal delivery firms at very little cost and although it is preferable for it to be in primer at this stage, fully painted vehicles can be accepted if necessary.
In such cases, special cab sheets are used to protect the paintwork.
