YORK trailers has carried out a company restructure within the group to enable it to control more effectively and monitor its products and services.
Under the new arrangement there will be seven companies within the York group each with its own managing director and its own area of operation.
There will also be a Canadian-controlled holding company headed by chairman F. W. Davies and directors, J. R. Baird, and J, F. Davies, both Canadians, and S. Beckett.
Other companies within the group are York Trailer International Ltd which will handle group exports and overseas operations under managing director Graham Brant.
York Truck Equipment Ltd will handle service, special equipment and rentals and be controlled by managing director Cecil Jones.
Manufacture of truck and trailer components will be carried on by York Technical Services Ltd with Peter Bloomfield as managing director.
York Campbell Credit Ltd will be looking after the finance and leasing side . of the operation under managing director Stanley Beckett, while Anthony Carrimore Ltd will make hydraulic hoists bodies and special trailers with Ronald Lyons as managing director.
Trailers and containers will be manufactured by. York Trailer Company Ltd with Raymond Reynolds as managing director and John Peck as sales director.
Dutch service, local assembly and parts distribution will be handled by York Trailer Europa BV with Ben van Ommering as managing director.
