El AND J QUICK Group has recorded its highest ever trading profit of £860,850 and an all-time record turnover of £32.8million during 1976, company chairman Norman Qucik has reported.

The,Group turnover showed an increase of 36 per cent over the previous year and the pre-tax profit of £510,836 was 78 per cent up on 1975, 50 per cent better than the previous record year.

Mr Quick reported that demand for the Ford range was intense and all the Group's outlets were flourishing. He also paid tribute to the service and range of the Ford Motor Company.

He announced a final dividend of 0.523p for each 5p ordinary share in the Group, bringing the dividend to the maximum allowable level of 1,032p for the year.
