THE extent to which mechanized farm implements are employed in this country is made evident by the 1955 Farm Mechanization" Directory just published. by Temple Press Ltd., Bowling Green Lane, London, E.C.1. Compiled by the staff of Farm Mechanization, this, the fifth edition of the work, is remarkable for its comprehensive character. It costs 21s. (22s. by post).
A directory is commonly thought to be composed mainly of names and Iddresses, but this publication not only :omplies with this requirement, but gives technical data of all the leading :ractors, together with no fewer than 57 test reports.
Implements are covered in a large :lassified section which includes numerous line and wash drawings, and photographs.
