Truck and plant exporter Britcom international has invested E4m in new premises in East Yorkshire. Kevin Swallow reports.

Britcom International is looking to develop its UK operation after spending .E4rn on state-of-the-art premises at Market Weighton.

The 14-acre site has an office complex with facilities for bespoke production and conversion work to cater for 300-plus items of stock. Chris Urwin, operations director, explains:"We-re aiming to significantly expand the UK side of the business, in terms of vehicle engineering and bodyshop service& We can design and deliver any innovative mode of commercial transportation for you.

For the past 25 years, Bri icon' International has been exporting trucks and plant to Eastern Europe, the Far East, East and Southern Africa and the Carillbean.Each year the company sends 1,2(X) trucks and 200 items of plant overseas.
