month at Oswestry-based Cadwallader Transport as two G-reg Volvo FL10 trucks arrived to start life with the firm — and their big brother, a Volvo F88 which came to Cadwallader 21 years ago, celebrated its coming-of-age. The 21-year-old has covered over two million kilometres on around 700,000 litres of fuel and is still the proud possessor of its original cab, engine, gearbox and rear axle. Director Russell Cadwallader's only regret is that he now has to fork out a little more for the new trucks than the 24,480 he paid for the F88 back in 1968.
