Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Builders who have wished they could transform their pickup or dropside body into a tipper could have an answer: the Action Tipper, from Welwyn Garden City-based firm Contract Action.

The self-contained tipper package fits all one-tonne pickups, or any other chassis with a flat load bed. With suitable platforms, typically on Transit-sized chassis, two can be mounted sideways.

Mounting the tipper, which consists of a bumper box and a tipping base, can be done without modifying the vehicle. According to the makers, fitting takes only one hour, so when you sell your vehicle the package can be removed and installed on a new one.

If the 1,500mm-long tipper is not needed, the 0.5m.1 dumper box can be taken off, leaving a metal base 125mm deep. Both box and base are made from 2mm steel.

The package is available at a base price of £1,450,80 (exVAT), including all necessary fixtures, and weighs around 150kg.

For details contact Contract Action on (0707) 333015; the company is also seeking firms interested in producing the tipper under licence.
