THE French M.A.P. two-stroke oil engine, which has many unconventional design features, is to be produced in this country. This unit, which is built in two-cylindered and fourcylindered forms, has horizontally opposed pistons, a method of construction that makes for compactness. The respective b.h.p. figures are 60 and 120, with the low weight of 10 lb. per b.h.p.
The manufacturing rights for the British Empire have been secured by Russell, Newbery and Co., Ltd.,. Dagenhatn.
