Thank you for publishing 1 an article about the work of our trust and the funding crisis which we are struggling to overcome (CM 24-30 Oct).
However, we are most concerned to emphasise that we will not have to stop providing assistance. This will never happen and we would not like individuals or organisations in need of help to gain the wrong impression. We can continue to provide this assistance by staff here making financial sacrifices and I would like to pay tribute to them for that. We hope it is realised how crippled we are for want of cash.
One aspect of your article was incorrect. Roy Clarke was detained in Spain not Bayonne, France.
