Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN AGREEMENT to co-ordinate research into sodiumsulphur batteries capable of producing five times the energy of the conventional lead acid battery has been signed by, DoE, DoT, British Railways Board, United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and Chloride Silent Power Ltd.

Such a battery would be able to power a bus or delivery van for up to 193km (120 miles) at speeds comparable with icengined vehicles.

All parties have agreed to pool information, and their research programmes will be. integrated to eliminate duplicated work. Chloride Silent Power will hold the patents resulting from any research, and in return for the right to grant licences the company will refund to the Government, from licence income, the cost of the DoE and Do! programmes. Once development costs are covered Government will share in any profits.
