• In a move to combat 'clocking' the government has announced that vehicle mileages are to be collected by the D'VLA each time a vehicle is bought and sold.
Both sellers and buyers of vehicles will be asked to enter the vehicle's mileage on the part of the registration document they send back to the DVLA. This information will be made available to the motor trade and the public.
