Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• I read with interest your article "Council of Despair" (CM 23-29 April). We, with others, feel harassed by our local council, Wychavon District. We have been served with enforcement notices which seek to curtail our operations which in our opinion had been given full planning consent when we built a new workshop in 1980. This permission was carried forward from our previous operations on the same site, which has been used as a haulage depot since 1962.

Isn't it about time the Road Haulage Association and Freight Transport Association came to the aid of their members caught up in similar situations.
