driver's mate, in the semi-final of the BBC television contest, Mastermind. I suffered with him as he desperately searched his memory for answers which I am sure he knew but of which the intimidating lights, cameras and stop-watch temporarily robbed him.
He will have a far better chance of doing himself justice in the course in economics and politics that he is taking at the Open University. His talents are certainly being wasted in his present occupation.
