• A detailed but extremely easy-to-us catalogue is the basis of a new nation2 network of vehicle under-chassis spare announced this week by Jonas Woodhea, Ltd, Kirkstall Road, Leeds (tel: 053 20814). Claimed to be the first such servic devoted exclusively to commercial vehicl (including pay) spares, it will becom available to operators at the beginning c June through 35 depots from Inverness t Plymouth which are already operating th company's spring reconditioning service an are now being stocked with a range of ner items.
Apart from filters, the scheme will b devoted initially to under-chassis parts— universal joint kits, shock absorbers, SA slack adjusters, mudwings and mudflap The service will be by regular calls a operators from local depots, and ID: response to phone calls for urgent spares the company has 125 vehicles to operate th scheme, and each depot will also have trade counter service.
