MR. STRAUS; VISITS NORTHERN WORKS

DERING a visit to the three heedquarters' factories of Leyland Motors, IA., last week, Mr. C. R. Strauss, Minister of Supply. paid a leibute to the management of the company for its elficieney. Describing the works as magnificent." Mr. Strauss said he was much impressed by the organization's efficiency, the great skill of the operatives and cleanliness of the shops,

The \1 inkier travelled between the factories in one of the new Leyland 8-ft.-wide double-deck buses. part of an order for 100 machines for Bolton Corporation. It was evident from his remarks that he was impressed with the comfort and finish of the vehicle.
